This course teaches how to link, structure, and make usable information across the entire lifecycle of buildings according to Linked Data principles. It provides practical and understandable instruction on how open Semantic Web standards can be used to build a building knowledge graph that automatically determines implicit information about the structure. Using Python programming, participants will ultimately develop software applications that process building data by querying the knowledge graph for various use cases. The goal of this course is to gain a solid understanding of methods for digital knowledge and information structuring for buildings and to apply them practically.
Previous Knowledge Expected
Prior knowledge in programming is helpful but not strictly required.
Objective
- Linking building information in a knowledge graph
