"Allplan is a BIM/CAD programme of Allplan GmbH, a subsidiary of Nemetschek SE, for architects, civil engineers and building contractors. Allplan has been offered since 1984. The software is available in 20 languages and is used by over 240,000 users." (wikipedia.de) Designing in Allplan is based on a component-oriented approach and generates not only two-dimensional but also three-dimensional representations, which can form the basis of architectural visualization. In addition to the visual processing of the building data model, Nemetschek also emphasizes the quantity determination and thus the construction cost estimate. Allplan focuses on the creation of work plans. The IFC interface integrated in Allplan enables convenient exchange with other specialist applications.
The course introduces the Allplan software. It enables participants to implement their own projects in Allplan. In doing so, they can fall back on their own, already completed draft or edit a new draft during the semester.
The course is offered during the semester. Registration is via RWTH-Online.
