CAAD.EINS builds on contents taught in the other course:CAAD.Start. While CAAD.Start focused on two-dimensional, computer-aided drawing and plan creation, CAAD.EINS (based on the final version of CAAD.Start) is designed to modify the drawing in 3D.

In addition to the requirements of the current semester, techniques of efficient 3D modeling and visualization are taught. The main emphasis is on the support in the design process. Ideas should therefore be checked and visualized quickly. At the same time, the contents of the CAAD.Start course will be deepened and practiced.

  • Basics of 3D modelling
  • Special 3D bodies
  • 2D -> 3D strategies and techniques
  • 3D -> Take 2D Modelled Bodies as the Base of a 2D Drawing
  • Create perspective
  • Cameras, lights, materials
  • White rendering
  • Rendering with matter
  • Postprocessing
  • Layout
