Projektbeschreibung
The use case of a heat pump configuration plays a key role in the ‘Wärme’ and ‘Energiewende’. Heat pumps are an efficient and environmentally friendly way of heating buildings and can help to reduce reduce CO2 emissions. By creating a comprehensive use case for the configuration of heat pumps using the heat pumps using the ISO standard 16757, which was further developed in the project, shows how information-interruption-free BIM-based processes can be applied in practice and what advantages they offer.
VDI 3805 is currently an important standard for the description of technical products in the field of building technology, but is based on information technology FORTRAN-like niche solutions that are far outside the current profiles of programmers. By internationalizing and modernizing the technological basis and the standard, further markets can be opened up and support from other software manufacturers of BIM authoring tools can grow.
The project is being carried out in cooperation between the BDH, BTGA, BDI, Hottgenroth Software AG and interested manufacturers, planners and other stakeholders. It comprises six work packages: (1) Inventory of the state of the art through two workshops with industry participation; (2) Creation of a new VDI 2552 sheet 11 for the use case configuration of heat pumps; (3) Transfer of all features used in package 1 into feature servers such as the buildingSMART bSDD and harmonization with existing vocabularies; (4) Reference implementation of a 16757 data set from product information from three participating manufacturers; (5) Feasibility study for an open-source configuration for an IFC implementation of the data sets. (6) Conception of a cooperation with BIM Germany an OpenBIM project for the implementation of the modernization of a federal property.
