Visual representations are used both in academic studies and in professional practice to convey the impact of architectural designs more vividly. However, a rendering, a model photograph, or a sketch rarely comes about βat the push of a button.β Post-processing, compositing, and staging are essential components of the final result. Especially in the field of image editing, numerous AI tools now create the impression that image corrections can be fully and reliably automated.
Within the framework of pixelai, we first reflect on your previous working methods and deepen the understanding of classical principles of non-destructive image editing.
Building on this, we examine the use of AI tools in the workflow and evaluate their reliability as well as reproducibility. Finally, we produce a collective documentation that makes the developed workflows accessible to other interested students.
