Digital tools are widely used in architecture. It often pays to study other disciplines to discover new methods and work more efficiently.
The course Reiff.flow shows you how to combine various programs to solve complex tasks more easily and cleverly. Instead of just using one tool, the focus is on ensuring smooth transitions between different programs—a topic often missing in tutorials but crucial for your workflow.
We analyze typical workflows in architecture studies and find ways to improve them through the targeted use of tools. Analog processes such as 3D scanning, photography, and printing, as well as the use of technologies like 3D printing and laser cutting, are also integrated.
The course aims to develop short, precise tutorials tailored specifically to the requirements at Reiff. These tutorials should help you work more efficiently and find smarter study solutions.
What will we solve together?
We will take a close look at your studies to find the gaps.
What tasks will you have?
- Identify a problem in your studies during a project that costs you time and nerves.
- Research: How do others solve it?
- Write a script.
- Have it reviewed by others.
- Create a short film.
- Let others test your guide.
Do you have special qualifications?
- Experience with cameras and/or audio setups can be very helpful.
- A good speaking voice?
- Do you enjoy layout or animations?
Is this for you? (Don’t worry if you can’t check every box!)
Ideally, you are already in an advanced semester and have some experience with various digital tools and their combinations. You might have already found a unique solution to a problem or know of a challenge you want to tackle. You like the medium of video. You have experience in video production, animation, or a great speaking voice? Your contribution will certainly help make studying at Reiff easier for others.
