The BIM2BEM course is about linking a digital building model (BIM) and the Building Energy Model (BEM) to analyze the sustainability of buildings.

During the course, students will choose an individual research topic and explore it in depth. Topics may focus on different aspects of sustainability, such as using sensor data in the building to collect and analyze building performance data. This data is used to improve BEM to increase building energy efficiency and sustainability.

The research field will allow students to better understand the relationship between buildings and sustainability. In doing so, the various topics will be tested using spaces in the Reiff Museum.
