New publication: Open-access article in Automation in Construction!
🔊 We are pleased to announce the open-access publication of our article „Graph-based method for extracting spatial information from semi-formal text to derive 3D bridge and damage models from legacy maintenance data“ in Automation in Construction.
🚀 This research, conducted by Anne Göbels and Jakob Beetz at RWTH Aachen University, investigates how existing textual information from Bridge Management Systems (BMS) can be leveraged to automatically derive spatial knowledge graphs and 3D models of a bridge and its damages. The method enables spatial access to the text-based data collection and transforms historical BMS data into graphs and models that are compatible with modern data structures!
This work is part of the Raumlink research project funded by the DFG.
